A tough weekend for Ryan Sissons in Rotterdam

2 years ago No comments

Despite setting a blistering pace in the running leg Ryan Sissons had a tough battle in Rotterdam.

Sissons early tactic of positioning himself early behind Spains multi-world champion Javier Gomez, didn’t pay off as he found himself at the back of the pack after a crowded swimming leg.

Refusing to give up Ryan set a blistering pace in the 10km running leg with a time of 30.10 (the 8th fastest overall), although unfortunately it was to little to late as Sissons came home in 23rd.

With a silver lining of holding his 10th World Series finish, Sissons has had an epic world series Yeeeow!!
