Brook Macdonald takes on NZ Enduro

2 years ago No comments

NZ Enduro is New Zealands wildest multi day enduro stage race. Consisting of 140 racers from 16 countries racing their way through a Natural single track in native forests on the magic Marlborough Sounds with helicopter shuttles over one big 3 day weekend. EPIC!

The mega weekend started and ended at the beach in White’s Bay. Then moving on to the spectacular Nydia Track, after shuttling riders from and back to Rai Valley linking three bays along the Pelorus Sounds’ coastline the riders race over four timed stages for day twos’ point to point adventure. The race then finishes in style on the final day, helicopter shuttled to the top of the infamous fern clad Wakamarina track, the crown jewel of NZ native bush track riding for the final four race stages.

The weather could have been nicer after one day of racing having to be canceled but no one complained as the other days made up for it.

High fives to ilabbfam rider Brook Macdonald who ended up 13th in the Pro Mens class. Rad result as he finishes up his prep for a massive NZ Crankworx at the end of the month in Rotorua.

Stay Tuned!
