Fabien Cousinié conquers the Mountain of Hell

The Legendary Mountain of Hell Enduro MTB race took place last week on the Les Deux Alpes. The event begins on a 3600 meter glacier with the biggest DH mass start in the world with 700 riders being released in one single wave. Extremely thick mist and slippery icy conditions meant the event lived up to both its name and reputation, pushing the riders to their limits and claiming its fair share of victims.

Despite sliding out early in the race Team UR’s Fabien Cousinié fought his way through the top of the field finishing in 4th place.

"It's one of the scariest things I've ever ridden, riding so fast down the glacier without seeing anything while being chased by 700 riders is so wild, it didn't feel real until I crashed but I'm super stoked to come back 4th after that. The rest of the race, as usual, is awesome with some proper free ride lines, high-speed trails, steep single tracks and of course riding through a bar! Definitely, a must do race for anyone who loves mass start." - Fabien Cousinié.
