ilabbfamily Riders Shred Crankworx Whistler
Tracey Hannah and team UR have wrapped up a massive two weeks in Whistler at one of the biggest Crankworx of the year.
Kenta Gallagher kicked of the event taking part in the Enduro World Series which one of the most technical races of the year meaning a long physical day on the bike.
The Garbanzo Downhill was up next taking place on a gruelling 3400 foot-to-bottom 12-minute downhill trail. Both Alex Fayolle and Tracey Hannah stepped up to conquer the gnarly race with Alex coming in 15th and Tracey who looked in great form taking the number 1 spot with a 10.98 second lead.
With the Air Downhill taking place on Whistlers iconic A-Line trail, team riders were ready for a three-minute sprint on the short and flowy trail. Dry dusty conditions kept riders on edge, however, once again Tracey led from the front taking 2nd place in the women’s, with Kenta and Fabien coming in 25th and 29th.
The Canadian Open Downhill marked the last event for Team UR and the rider’s left it all on the trail. Again the dry conditions in combination with a rooty track made for a technical race. Alex and Kenta through down some solid runs finishing in 15th and 19th. Tracey continued her epic Crankworx performance taking the top of the podium with another massive 10.62-second margin. With a series of dominant performances at Crankworx events throughout the year Tracey takes home the Crankworx Downhill World Title Yeeeeow!!
