Team UR face stiff competition in Lenzerheide
Team UR were reminded of how competitive World Cup racing can be at 5th round of the UCI MTB World cup.
Dry and dusty track conditions kept riders on their A game leaving little room for error. Tracey Hannah looked confident early in the week coming in 3rd in qualifying only 1.2 seconds off the fastest time. The boys followed suit finding their rhythm with both Alexandre Fayolle and Mick Hannah qualifying in the top 20.
Coming into the finals Tracey Hannah played it safe after her crash last week finishing in 4th on the podium. Dropping to 2nd place in the overall rankings, Hannah will be looking to regain the top stop at the upcoming world championships.
Fayolle and Hannah both fell victim to the difficult track conditions both enduring some tough crashes. Fortunately both riders dusted themselves off and managed to avoid injury.
After 6 weeks of back to back races Team UR will be looking to regain their top team position as they come into the final races of the season.
